When I save a document or change the ColumnSelectMode, and the screen
has scrolled so that the current cursor position is not visible, both of these
actions result in that the screen is scrolled to show the cursor position.

How can I disable this, since I don't want the screen to jump around when
performing a save on a file or by choosing the ColumnSelectMode ?
