Using a "$"-char in templates

GWD Text Editor Forum: Technical Support: Using a "$"-char in templates

I like to generate the following template:

################################################
# RCS Informations (generated automatically)
# ------------------------------------------
#
# $Revision: $
#
# $Locker: $
#
# $State: $
#
# $Log: $
################################################

My problem is that all $-characters get lost. How can I tell the editor that a $ isn't a $1, $2, $^, etc.?
