For any of you looking for a text editor and considering GWD, I now highly recommand that you do NOT buy this product.

We have been without any updates for 2 years now, and version 3.2 just does not cut it if you do any serious software development. GWD used to be a good editor with nice features (and features not found in other editors), but the lack of updates has now made it obsolete. For instance, "Source Tagging" is a major feature which most other text editor now provide. For instance, CRiSP provides all the features of GWD and more, and IT IS ACTIVELY MAINTAINED!!!

2 years have gone by since the last update, and Gaco seems to be hiding!

So, reconsider before buying this product...

I agree, still waiting for version to fix some bugs, but there is no one. Did someone tried to write to Gaco, what are his plans?
Gaco, are you reading this at all? If you are not maintainig this app then sell it to someone who will, I hate to see some software good as GWD used to be to lose market share in this way.

Yes, but this and next month I will only support it through e-mail. This is because I have one project for an University with the deadline 1.3.2004 which was pass and I need 40-60 days to finish it and must pay penalties. Becase of this right now I only work on this project, and after that I will reactivate the GWD Text Editor project and continue porting it to Linux which was stopped exactly before one year because of the University project.
