I am evaluating GWD and am wondering if it's possible to do the following, either natively or by writing a script.

I want to be able to open a PERL script, press a key to compile it, and have the output appear in a window below by using a vertical split. However if I do a subsquent compile, I want the output window to be updated with the new output details and not have another window created.

If someone has a script that would be great. As for my evaluation, this is at present all that is putting me off.

Redirecting output to new window is possible only with a GWD C Script (I will change this in the future - output will be redirected to the docked window). Currently only Java projects redirects compiler output to same window.
