I've found a problem with the new 3.0 version. The compile process adds options that Java 1.1.8 does not support. The one's I've found are:

-g:none
-targe
-sourcepath

This causes the compile to fail.

In the Java Project Settings dialog box:

1. Click on the Paths tab.
2. Delete text from Source edit box.
3. Click on the Compiler tab.
4. Remove 1.1 from the Java virtual machine target edit box.

You should also download latest Java projects plug-in which fixes some bugs in the Project settings dialog box. To download new Java project plug-in:

1. Close project (if it is opened).
2. Choose Add/Remove Targets command from the Projects menu.
3. Click on Download button.
4. Select Java, and choose Download.
