0a. Funtion List - a navigation panel (see UltraEdit) which lists strings of a file which match specified pattern and allows GOTO that line with click. Example: if pattern is "^\s+sub\s+(\S+)" it lists all sub SUB1, sub SUB2, etc. Must have feature for PERL.
0b. (?!!!) Cannot assign keyboard hot-keys for FTP open and save? I want to save all my files (local, FTP, etc) with F2!!! And open with F3! FTP Open and Save menu commands MUST BE in File Menu, but not in plug-ins... Even if they are realized as a plug-in.

2. "Favorite (or Library) files" toolbar icon and menu dialog - allows to specify a list of files for quick access
2. Split windows to edit different parts of one file in a number of windows

Function list is one of the best features UltraEdit has.

to point 2 of the first entry: favorites. there already is a favorites list (i suppose you know that?) but it would be better if it appeared as a drop-down menu and could be edited to display custom names and separators.

i also agree the other features mentioned would be good additions
